Snow in the Northeast… in April?

As more and more model runs come in, the forecasts for very late March and early April are changing fairly significantly.  Just a few days ago, some major weather sources such as the National Weather Service and The Weather Channel were suggesting a fairly mild early April and late March. With the GFS and ECMWF model both suggesting this, as Weather 360 was hinting at a few days ago, there is the possibility of a potentially frigid early April along with the possibility of a few small to moderate snow and rain events.  This in mind, now may not be the best time to put away the shovels and salt.  Stay safe!
