Snow begins to fall in the Mid-Atlantic and New England

This is a special mid-storm update.

The early spring snowstorm in the Northeast is creating slick roadways and creating reduced visibility from Rhode Island to Maryland.  Bands of moderate to somewhat heavy snow are continuing to move across southern portions of New England and the Mid Atlantic, causing many schools in and around NYC and across the Northeast to either close or dismiss early.  Snow will, if not already, start to accumulate on grassy surfaces and roads.  Estimated accumulations across the Northeast are ranging from a couple of inches to as much as six inches of snow (with locally higher amounts.)  Remember to exercise extra caution while outside or on roadways while wintry weather is occurring. Stay safe!
