Climate Accord Reached!

Yesterday, 195 nations from around the world reached an agreement on the limitation and reduction of of Greenhouse gas emissions, specifically Carbon.  Over the past several decades, the climate has changed, and not for the better.  The hots have been getting hotter and the colds have been getting at least somewhat colder, ice sheets on both poles have continued to decrease in surface area, and more extreme and violent storm systems have occurred worldwide.  All because of one thing, man-made Greenhouse gasses and emissions.

This Climate Accord reached in Paris on December 12, 2015 is the first major global step in the fight to halt Climate Change’s effects on our planet.  This step will be the pathway to a more sustainable world, with more new clean energy sources being found and made constantly, and the greater use of existing clean energy sources, the world may soon not have to rely solely on fossil fuels.

Of course, the limitations of other Greenhouse gasses must occur as well in order to save the planet. Methane is about 85 times more potent than Carbon, and other emissions such as Chlorofluorocarbons, contribute to Climate Change, and the destruction of this planet.
